Neuro-Informed Burnout Coaching
You don't need to push harder.
You need to understand why you're so exhausted.
I help high-achieving professionals recognize the stages of stress and burnout, and break the cycle of chronic stress, overthinking and self-doubt — so they can feel calmer, think clearer and get their energy back.
For people who look fine on the outside, but feel exhausted, wired or close to burnout on the inside.
The Success Paradox
What if the thing that made you successful is now the thing keeping you stuck?
You learned how to push. To stay responsible. To solve problems. To keep going when everyone else stopped.
And it worked.
You built a life that looked good from the outside. You earned people's trust. You became the person everyone could depend on.
But somewhere along the way, something changed.
Rest started feeling unproductive. Every decision required analysis. Your mind became difficult to switch off.
Your body was asking for recovery while your identity kept demanding output.
And slowing down started to feel almost as uncomfortable as burning out.
This isn't necessarily a discipline problem. It may be a stress pattern your nervous system learned in order to survive and protect you.
The Stages of Stress
Burnout doesn't happen overnight. It happens in stages.
Most people don't notice they're burning out until they're already deep inside it. In plain terms, here is what that build-up usually looks like.
01
Wired
"I'm just busy right now."
You're stretched thin and running on adrenaline, but you tell yourself it's temporary.
02
Running on Empty
"I'm tired, but I can't switch off."
Rest doesn't fully recharge you anymore. You're more tired, more foggy and more reactive than usual.
03
Shutting Down
"I don't feel much of anything."
You feel numb or disconnected. Things that used to matter to you start to feel far away.
04
Breaking Point
"I physically or mentally cannot keep going."
Your body or mind forces you to stop — through exhaustion, illness, or overwhelm.
Coaching starts with figuring out, in plain terms, which stage you're actually in.
Who This Is For
You can be successful and still be struggling.
Many clients are leaders in technology, law, finance and medicine — people who are earning well, and running on empty.
01
The One Who Can't Stop
You keep going even when your body is clearly asking you to slow down.
02
The Overthinker
You can see ten possible outcomes before making one decision.
03
The Always-On One
Even when you're physically resting, your mind is still working.
04
The Quietly Struggling One
Life looks fine from the outside. Inside, something feels off.
05
The Responsible One
Everyone comes to you. You rarely give yourself the same attention.
06

The Coaching Program
RESTORE
A neuro-informed coaching experience for high-achieving professionals who are ready to understand and change the patterns behind their stress and burnout.
This isn't about pushing through burnout or finding another productivity hack. The work explores the relationship between mind, body, emotions, identity, behavior and environment — so you can understand what's actually driving the exhaustion, not just manage the symptoms.
Clients typically reclaim ten to fifteen hours a week — not by doing less, but by no longer losing time and energy to the patterns that were quietly draining it.
Calibrate & Regulate — Understand what your system is actually responding to.
"What is happening inside me before I try to change what I'm doing?"
Reclaim & Rebuild — Change the patterns that keep consuming your capacity.
"What pattern keeps producing the same result?"
Sustain & Thrive — Build a way of living that doesn't require you to abandon yourself.
"How do I create a life that can actually sustain the person I want to become?"
Methodology
Your brain is constantly making predictions.
Your brain doesn't simply react to reality. It continuously predicts what is about to happen based on previous experiences, learned associations, expectations and perceived threats.
Those predictions influence what you notice, what you ignore, what you interpret as threatening, how your body responds, what emotions arise, what actions feel possible, and what decisions you make. This means that sometimes the problem isn't simply the situation — it is the prediction your system is making about the situation.
The Predictive Processing Recovery Framework™
01 — REGULATE
Calm the nervous system
Before anything else changes, the nervous system needs to come out of a threat state and back into one where clear thinking is possible.
02 — REWIRE
Rewire the predictions
Identify the predictions driving the stress response, and where your system learned to make them.
03 — INSTALL
Install a new strategy
Build new experiences and responses that give your system a different, more accurate prediction to work from.
04 — SUSTAIN
Sustain under pressure
Reinforce the new pattern until it holds under real deadlines, real conflict and real pressure — not just in calm moments.
The Five Predictions™
Five predictions quietly shape how we experience the world.
A practical lens used throughout coaching to understand what your system is evaluating beneath the surface of any given moment.
01
Safety
"Am I safe?"
Your system continuously evaluates whether something is safe, uncertain or threatening.
02
Agency
"Can I influence what happens next?"
Agency is the feeling that your actions can meaningfully affect your experience.
03
Competence
"Can I handle this?"
How capable you believe yourself to be can influence confidence, avoidance and how well you cope.
04
Meaning
"What does this mean?"
The meaning you assign to an event can shape the emotional experience that follows.
05
Recovery
"Can I let go?"
Your body needs recovery. A system that never receives permission to recover eventually pays the cost.
Change the prediction, and you may change what becomes possible.
The Coaching Model
We don't just change behavior. We investigate what is driving it.
Sustainable change happens when we understand the relationship between these layers, rather than trying to force a new behavior from the outside.
Focus Areas
The work adapts to the person — not the other way around.
These are coaching focus areas, not medical treatments or diagnoses.
My Approach
Evidence-informed. Human-centered. Deeply practical.
My coaching approach is informed by multiple evidence-informed frameworks, translated into practical, applicable work — never presented as psychotherapy or medical treatment.
Shlok is a coach, not a licensed psychotherapist, psychologist or physician. Coaching complements, but does not replace, licensed medical or mental health care.
About Shlok
I'm Shlok. And I became interested in the question underneath burnout.
For over a decade, I worked in management and transformation roles — at TD Canada Trust, Deloitte Consulting, Valeo and Maersk, across India, France and Canada. I watched capable, talented people quietly lose themselves inside environments built for output, not sustainability.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in something deeper: why can two people experience the same situation and respond completely differently? Why does one person slow down while another keeps pushing? Why can someone know exactly what they should do — and still feel unable to do it?
And why do highly capable people sometimes become trapped inside patterns they are perfectly capable of recognizing?
That curiosity eventually became the foundation of my coaching work. Today, I help professionals rebuild capacity, focus and time — without stepping back from the ambitious work they've built their lives around. My clients look like they have it all together on the outside, but are quietly burnt out, or heading there. Together we understand the patterns underneath the exhaustion, so they can actually recover.
My approach is also shaped by original research I've done into identity and work — including something I call the Gratitude Paradox: why capable people stay in situations they already know are harming them. That research is the basis of my forthcoming book, The Blueprint of Me.
Forthcoming Book
The Blueprint of Me
Drawn from original research into identity, gratitude and why capable people stay in what's hurting them.
You don't have to become a different person. You may simply need to stop living from patterns that no longer serve you.
Why Coaching
You probably don't need more information.
You already know you should sleep more. You know you should set boundaries. You know you should stop overthinking. You know you should take breaks. You know what you should do.
The harder question is: why can't you consistently do what you already know?
That's where coaching begins. We investigate the pattern instead of judging the behavior.

FAQ
Questions worth asking before you begin.
No. This is coaching and educational work focused on stress, burnout, patterns, behavior, self-awareness and sustainable change. It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment or a substitute for professional healthcare.
High-achieving professionals, leaders, entrepreneurs and executives who are experiencing patterns such as chronic stress, burnout, overthinking, self-doubt or feeling stuck despite external success.
Most people don't reach burnout suddenly — it builds gradually, through a few recognizable stages of stress. Part of the first conversation is simply mapping out, in plain language, where you currently are and what's driving it.
The recommended coaching journey is structured around the individual's needs. The initial conversation determines whether the program is an appropriate fit.
The first call is a conversation to understand your current situation, what you're experiencing, what you want to change and whether the coaching approach is appropriate for you.
Coaching outcomes depend on individual circumstances, engagement and effort, so specific results cannot be guaranteed. What is guaranteed is a structured, evidence-informed process, full attention during sessions, and honesty about whether the work is progressing.
